Introduction
Sutro Group was engaged to conduct a Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) on Crane 2 at Portbury Docks. This critical inspection aimed to identify any surface or near-surface defects that could compromise the structural integrity of the crane, ensuring continued safe operation.
