2025 saw Sutro Group expand our service capabilities through strategic partnerships, deploy advanced inspection technologies across major projects, and marked five years since our pre-pandemic launch. Here’s a look at what defined the year.

In 2025, we forged partnerships with industry leaders and continue to work with industry leaders to expand our capabilities and deliver comprehensive solutions across new inspection environments.
Square Robot Inc. – Next-generation robotic tank inspection enabling in-service assessments without drainage, human entry, or operational disruption.
ESCON DHVANI International – HOMC technology for hidden corrosion detection at pipe supports without dismantling—addressing a universal industry challenge.
Planys Technologies – Submersible ROV inspection capabilities for online inspections without dewatering, achieving 95% reduction in interpretation time with AI-enabled reporting.
HausBots – AEROGRIP™ wall-climbing robotic crawlers carrying up to 25kg NDT payloads, operating in 45mph winds without scaffolding.

2. The Highlights
2025 saw Sutro Group step firmly into the spotlight as an industry leader, sharing our expertise and advancing the conversation on inspection innovation and safety.
IRATA International Work at Height Seminar – Our UAV Operations Manager, Adam Viney, presented “Reducing Time at Risk with Drone-Assisted Work at Height” alongside industry leaders from IOSH, IRATA International, Arup, BuildUK, and London Fire Brigade.
Advanced Inspection Technology Demonstration, Gdańsk – We hosted clients and partners for a hands-on showcase of how drones, robotics, and advanced NDT techniques are transforming asset integrity management.
Team Growth – We welcomed Mindaugas Vaičiūnas (Senior NDT Technician, PCN Level 3), Anabia Saif (Accounts Assistant), Jason Lewis (IRATA Level 3), and others who strengthen our UK and European capabilities.

• 4 dedicated teams deployed simultaneously
• 1,906 rope access equipment items inspected

4. Looking Ahead to 2026
As we enter our 6th year, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together. Sutro Group has grown into a seven-figure operation delivering integrated inspection solutions across 15 countries whilst maintaining an industry-leading safety record.
The partnerships we’ve forged, the technology we’ve mastered, and the trust our clients place in us create a strong foundation for 2026. We have exciting announcements planned for early in the year, and we’re already planning our next UK Advanced Inspection Technology Demonstration.
