For inspection work at height or within complex structures, access is often the biggest constraint on a project, not the inspection itself. I’ve seen jobs where scaffolding took longer to erect and dismantle than the inspection it was there to support.
Rope access offers a different solution.

Where rope access comes into its own
On chimneys, stacks, cooling towers, storage vessels, process plant and other complex structures, rope access can reach areas that would otherwise need extensive scaffolding, MEWPs or temporary access systems.
It also leaves a small site footprint, and our teams can often set it up and remove it quickly. During shutdowns and tight maintenance windows, cutting the time and infrastructure needed just to gain access can make a real difference.
More than rope access
Many of our projects also involve confined space entry. So we plan access, work positioning and rescue from the outset, rather than adding emergency arrangements afterwards.
When we combine Rope Access, Confined Space, NDT, UAV and Robotic Inspection within one coordinated programme, the real benefit becomes clear:
