Rope Access Cardiff

Rope access is a form of abseiling used in industry that enables our engineers to access hard to reach places and work safely at height. Today rope access companies deliver NDT inspections, surveys, building repair and maintenance, painting, window cleaning and many other projects on high buildings and structures that would otherwise be inaccessible.

Industrial rope access contractors are commonplace within many industries including construction, civil engineering and the offshore oil, gas and green energy sectors. And the list is growing, the flexibility afforded by the use of ropes and rigging as opposed to scaffolding and raised platforms means that a whole new range of businesses are taking advantage of rope access services.

What are the benefits of Rope Access?

Faster

Rope access systems are fast to deploy and disassemble.

Cheaper

More cost-effective than mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) especially for short term projects such as inspections, window cleaning and painting

Safer

Our fully trained rope access contractors are kitted out in the latest HSE approved safety harnesses, fall protection and recovery kits

Flexible

Ropes and rigging can be used on most structures, from oil rigs to bridges and cliff faces. Multi-skilled rope access technicians can perform inspections, surveys, electrical work and many other tasks

Accommodating

Less impact on the surrounding area and environment. Your staff, members of the public and other contractors will hardly notice our specialist teams working above

The environmental, efficiency and cost benefits of rope access compared to alternatives such as scaffolding, mobile elevated platforms, cranes and lift cradles mean that is the preferred choice for working in high, difficult to access working environments.
